Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Chart Nomads collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, account services, and the Chart Nomads Research Companion browser extension.
Last updated: 25/05/2026
Summary of key points
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically from your browser and device, and account-related information needed to run Chart Nomads. For signed-in users, that can include name, email, country, liked firms, cashback balances, and similar account state.
The extension reads the current page URL and page title to detect supported prop firm and broker websites so it can show eligibility, offers, review context, and recommendations.
We do not sell personal data. We may share data only with service providers that help us operate Chart Nomads or when required by law.
You can request account deletion in your settings. We schedule the account for deletion and remove it after the required cooldown period.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and information linked to your Chart Nomads account.
Personal information you provide
- Name, nickname, and email address.
- Country and country code.
- Profile settings, bookmarks, likes, reviews, and other content you submit.
- Support messages and other communications you send us.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information.
- Pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, and interaction data.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for sign-in, preferences, and security.
- Current page URL and page title when the browser extension is active.
Account information
- Authentication status and profile identifiers.
- Liked firm IDs and preference state.
- Cashback balance, pending cashback, locked cashback, and related payout history.
- Deletion request timestamps and similar account lifecycle records.
1.1. Browser extension data
The Chart Nomads Research Companion browser extension reads the current page URL and page title to determine whether you are browsing a supported prop firm or broker website. It uses that information to detect the current company, show country eligibility and restriction warnings, surface offers and discounts, and present recommendations.
When you sign in, the extension may fetch account-related data from Chart Nomads, including your first name, country, liked firms, and relevant account state so it can personalize the experience and show the correct companion content.
The extension does not sell user data, does not use user data for advertising, and does not execute remote code from outside the extension package.

- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and analyze the platform.
- Legal obligations: to comply with law, tax, accounting, and enforcement requests.
7. How long do we keep information?
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some account and preference data may remain stored until you change it or request deletion.

11. Controls, profile updates, and account deletion

You can request account deletion from your account settings. When you do, we mark the account for deletion and schedule it for removal after the required cooldown period.
In the current workflow, the deletion request is recorded through Chart Nomads, you are signed out, and the account is removed after the cooldown period described in the deletion confirmation page.
12. US residents specific privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain processing, and appeal certain decisions. Contact us if you would like to make a request.
